Vladimir Kosiuk

Services for Vladimir Kosiuk, 82, will be Monday, March 13, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will be Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chariton Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial.

Vladimir Kosiuk was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, three children, eight grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Vladimir was born in Berdychiv, Ukraine in the Zhytomyr Region. He grew up with four brothers and five sisters in the village of Semionovka, and attended church in Berdychiv. He was water baptized in 1962 at the age of 21 and received the Holy Spirit in 1965. Vladimir was convicted twice for his Christianity, but he always remained strong in his Faith.

On May 8^th, 1971, he married Lyubov Kondratyuk. Together, they had their son Oleg, and their two daughters Zena and Oksana. The Kosiuk family immigrated to the United States in 1989.

Vladimir was greatly admired for his young spirit and dedication to Christ. He had a passion for building and constructing different projects. He will be most remembered for his unshakeable love and fear for Christ.

Vladimir was an incredible storyteller. He often talked about Heaven and how there will be no more pain and no more tears. Vladimir passed away on March 5, 2023. He lived a long and prosperous life. Although he will be greatly missed, we know he is rejoicing with his Heavenly Father.
