Funeral services for Victor Vahnenko, 53, of Chariton will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Interment will be at the Chariton Cemetery following the service.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 23, from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home.

Victor was born February 22, 1968 in the Ukraine. Victor loved the outdoors and fishing. He was an excellent carpenter and enjoyed working at True Value the past few years with his boss, Dave Rich. He loved family and people. Victor was extremely proud of his 11 children.

Victor passed away at his home on November 19, 2021. He is survived by his mother, Nina Bondaruk; children: Dimitry (Elizabeth) Vahnenko and their children: Lincoln, Ronan, and Kinsley, Elena Vahnenko, David Vahnenko, Clavdiya Vahnenko, Sarah (Ronnie) Cromer and their son Ronnie, Natalia Vahnenko and her son Maverick, Emmanuel Vahnenko, Lubove Vahnenko, Ruth Vahnenko, Sam Vahnenko, and Isaac Vahnenko; siblings: Elena (Mike) Ilyenko, Ivan (Tatyana) Bondaruk, Ira (Slavik) Mazur, Anna (Dima) Nikitine, Inna (Ivan) Kiriyak, Alla (Will) Pierschbacher, Nikolay Bondaruk, Maria Bondaruk, and Nadja (Max) Slobodyanik; and many relatives, and friends.

Victor was preceded in death by his father, Nikolay Bondaruk; sister, Lidia Bondaruk; and grandparents, Nikolay and Maria Chizh.
