Ulyana Mikhaylovna Kutsel

Ulyana M. Kutsel passed away on April 3, 2024, in Iowa City, Iowa. A visitation and prayer service will be held at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton, Iowa on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Monday April 8, 2024, also at the funeral home. Ulyana will be laid to rest in Chariton Cemetery.

Ulyana was born on September 18, 2002, in Springfield, Massachusetts to Mikhail and Irina Kutsel. Her family moved to Iowa in 2015. She graduated from Chariton High School in 2021. After graduation, Ulyana studied at DMACC before pursuing her studies further at the University of Iowa. Ulyana loved to sing and play the guitar. She was also an avid reader. Ulyana was a lover of animals, especially cats.

She is survived by her parents; her siblings, Valentina, Mariya, Margarita, Mikhail, and Stanislav; and many other family and friends.
