Ted Lee Hulgan

Ted Lee Hulgan, age 59, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on January 30, 2023, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. Ted was born on February 22, 1963, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Richard and Doris Hulgan. He grew up in Altoona and attended S.E. Polk High School, class of 1981. In his youth, Ted liked fishing and hunting. Ted worked at the Grain Elevator, Pre Cast Concrete Panels, Porter’s Hardware, and in small engine repair. He enjoyed being a push truck driver at the Knoxville Raceway and was a former race team member. Ted’s wishes were to be cremated. A private burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery on a later date.
