Funeral services for Tammy Millard, 49, of Chariton will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton with family receiving friends prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Chariton Cemetery. Memorials in Tammy's honor may be made in care of her family. Tammy was born October 5, 1967 in Des Moines, Iowa to Billy and Carol Millard. She grew up in Chariton attending Chariton High School Class of 1985. Tammy will be remembered for her happy and uplifting personality. She loved to help others, if someone would knock on her door, she would invite them in and feed them. She had friends from all over and would spend her days reaching out to them on the phone to visit. She loved to go to Celebrate Recovery at her church, where she could help and encourage others. Tammy passed away June 30, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Her father, Billy Millard preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Carol McRoberts; siblings: Clint Millard, Clay Millard, and Pamela McRoberts; and many aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
