Stephen L Ogden

Stephen L. Ogden, age 76, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on May 28, 2022, at Pella Comfort House.

Stephen was born on December 28, 1945, in Knoxville, Iowa, the son of Lawrence and Loretta (Dixon) Ogden. He grew up in Knoxville and attended Knoxville Schools. Stephen also attended Bible College.

Stephen was united in marriage to Bette Hall on March 8, 1971, in Unionville, Missouri. They enjoyed 46 years of marriage before her passing on June 21, 2017.

Stephen worked as an auto body worker and was then employed at Pella Corp. for over 25 years. He enjoyed working on projects around the house and liked to draw.

Stephen is survived by his children, Susan Beals, Jim (Rosemary) Dabb, Michael “Mick” Dabb, Teresa (Tim) Stittsworth and Chuck Ogden; many grandchildren, including, Samantha, Jacob, McKenzie, and Madison; also, ten great-grandchildren. Stephen is also survived by many in-laws, and extended family and friends.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Larry and Jerry Ogden; daughter, Kimberly Ogden; and son, Steven Dabb.

Visitation for Stephen will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Stephen's family will be present to greet friends and relatives. Burial will take place on a later date at Gullion Cemetery.

Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville is assisting Stephen’s family with arrangements.
