Shelly Bjornson

Shelly Dionne Bjornson, age 25, of Albia died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at her residence. She was born January 14, 1982 in Corydon, Iowa to Steve and Lorraine (Runyon) Bjornson. She was a graduate of Albia High School, class of 2000. Shelly had worked at Target in Ottumwa and was a homemaker. She dearly loved her family, friends and raising her daughter. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia. Shelly is survived by her daughter, Isabelle Bradley; her parents, Steve and Lorraine; one brother Ryan Bjornson of Albia and one sister Tosha Mowatt of Waterloo; one niece Elexa and two nephews, Dakota and Colin. Also surviving are maternal grandparents, Robert Runyon of Dayton, Iowa and Etta McDonald of Wellington, Texas; step-grandfather, Roy Heggen of Dayton, Iowa. Her grandparents, Maurice Bjornson and Annabelle Bjornson Heggen precede Shelly in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia with Rev. Kevin Leveck officiating. Internment will follow in Oak View Cemetery. Visitation will open after 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 19 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Albia with the family present from 6-8 P.M. Friday evening. A memorial has been established to go to Isabelle.
