Sergei was a very loving child. He was raised alongside his siblings in Washington. Sergei was always a great student, loved by all of his teachers. He graduated from high school in Vancouver, Washington. After graduation, Sergei worked for a time as a CNC machine operator in Oregon City, Oregon. Sergei moved to Chariton, Iowa with his family in 2018. He began working full-time in the Hy-Vee Maintenance Department as a CNC machine operator. He was a hard worker and was proud to help support his family. That was Sergei's way. He had a kind and giving heart and was selfless, placing everyone's needs before his own. Sergei was always happy and joyful on the outside, but he was often in a lot of pain. He suffered from a genetic kidney stone disease which prevented him from being pain free. In spite of this, Sergei never complained. Sergei was engaged to be married. He was looking forward to a bright and happy future, but God had other plans for him. God saw his soul and only God knows what he's been through. Although he is in a better place, he will be greatly missed by those he left behind. Sergei passed away on April 11, 2020 at the age of 25. He is survived by his father, Vladimar Blidchenko; mother, Galina Rymar; siblings: Aleks, Irina, Vitaliy, David, Daniel, and Ruvim; fiancé, Miriam; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Sergei was preceded in death by his grandparents. Cemetery Details Chariton Cemetery HWY 14 and HWY 34
