Ronald L Riggen

Ronald L. Riggen, age 80, of Harvey, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Pella Comfort House. Ronald’s wishes were to be cremated. A private burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery at a later date. Ronald was born on January 17, 1943, at his family home in Harvey, Iowa, the son of Pat and Maxine (Milledge) Riggen. He grew up in Harvey and graduated from Pella High School. Ronald was blessed with three sons, Curt, Jeff, and Doug. He was united in marriage to Mavi (Bott). Mavi passed away on December 29, 2021. Ronald worked in construction for 30 years and also farmed on his family’s land. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Curt (Liz) Riggen, Jeff (Shelly) Riggen, and Doug (Staci) Riggen; grandchildren, Melissa, Megan, Taylor (Katie), Blake, Chase, Caden, and Kyara; two greatgrandchildren, Jack and Clay; and brother, Robert (Elaine) Riggen.
