Robin Linette Webb

A Graveside Service will be held for Robin Linette Webb, 56, of Des Moines on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethel Cemetery in Russell, Iowa. Family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton.

Robin Linette (Singleton) Webb, daughter of Patricia (Blanchard) Singleton and Loyed Singleton, was born November 7, 1965, in Chariton, Iowa. She graduated from Chariton Community High School in 1984 and later attended the American Institute of Business in Des Moines.

She was united in marriage to Michael “Spider” Webb who preceded her in death. She later met Thomas McMurray and they were blessed with a daughter, Cassie. Robin and Cassie enjoyed going to the circus together and especially their late night conversations about everything and anything.

Robin worked at Wells Fargo and Apex until her poor health forced her to take disability.

Robin passed away at her home in Des Moines, Iowa on January 25, 2022, at the age of 56. She is survived by her loving companion and caretaker of almost 19 years, Thomas McMurray of Des Moines; beautiful daughter, Cassie McMurray of Des Moines; aunts: Debby (Bill) Downs of Allerton, Sheila Blanchard of Belize, Mickey (George) Betz of Cedar Rapids, and Julia Spoon of Chariton; half-sister, Becki Lorimor of Phoenix, Arizona, who just recently found her; and numerous cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pat Singleton in 2003; father, Loyed Singleton in 2020; husband, Mike Webb in 2004; grandparents, Lt. Richard and Bertha Blanchard and Roy and Fern Singleton; and numerous other relatives.

She struggled several years with diabetes, and it finally claimed her life. Fly high Robin, you deserve your wings!!
