Robert Dean Voss

Robert Dean Voss, 70, of Melcher-Dallas, Iowa passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, with his family by his side. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to EveryStep Hospice in Knoxville.

Robert was born on July 27, 1952, in Knoxville, Iowa to Don and Florence (Edwards) Voss. He later moved to California where he grew up, and later served in the US Army.

Robert made his way back to Iowa where he worked for Lucas County for a while, before becoming a truck driver. He spent the last 25-30 years driving a truck.

Robert loved his family and cherished all of his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed all of his time spent with them.

Robert will be dearly missed by his sisters, Lyla Fees of Knoxville and Ann (Bill) Garbis of Florida; brother, Tom (Cammy) Voss of Nevada; as well as many, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Florence, as well as his sister, Linda Gilman, and brother-in-law, Don Carter.
