Robert "Rob" Schneider

Robert “Rob” Schneider, 49, of Lacona, Iowa passed away on March 17, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Memorials may be made in care of Rob’s family.

Robert Schneider was born on April 11, 1973, in Caldwell, Idaho. He grew up in Idaho, moved to California in 1990 where he met Tracy Riley, then the couple moved to Chariton in 1994. He started working at Etters, then bought his own truck and began his own company, RWS Trucking.  

Rob and Tracy were blessed with two children, Ashley and Cody.

Rob grew up with the love of spending time outdoors. He did a lot of hunting, fishing, and working on things. Rob was a very generous man and was known to do just about anything for anyone. He did have a bit of a stubborn side.

Rob will be dearly missed by his mother, Margie Mitchell; wife, Tracy Schneider; children, Ashley Schneider (Josh Schilling) and Cody Schneider; grandchildren: Lorelai (14), Aria (7), and Jensen (6); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Schneider; grandparents, Harry and Inez Curry; mother-in-law, Myra Johnson; and nephew, Chase Lavely.
