Robert G. Marcum, of Des Moines, passed away April 10, 2022, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas, Iowa.
Memorials may be made to Robert's family. All donations made through the Tribute Fund link will go directly to his family.
Robert was born September 24, 1958, to Glen and Mary (Tamburo) Marcum. He was the youngest of 4 children and grew up on the south side of Des Moines.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Mary Marcum; brothers: Glen "Duke" Marcum, William "Bill" Marcum, and Ernest "Sarge" Marcum.
Robert leaves behind 7 children, a host of grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
