Rhonda Sue (Pettyjohn) Kiler, age 56, of Hamilton, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, November 18, 2019.
Rhonda was born on May 9, 1963 in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Orvil and Arlene (Wallace) Pettyjohn. She attended Twin Cedars High School.
Rhonda was united in marriage to Lynial Kiler on February 25, 1993. They were blessed with 26 years of marriage, before her passing.
Rhonda had various jobs throughout the area including Pella Plastics, Pella Corp., and Cargill Meat Processing. She enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation for Rhonda will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Winfield Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held on a later date at the Hamilton Cemetery.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Lynial Kiler of Des Moines; daughter, Kodi Kiler (Jose Diaz) of Des Moines; brothers, Doug (Kim) Pettyjohn of Bussey, Paul Pettyjohn of Knoxville, Bruce (Carla) Pettyjohn of Marysville, Roger Pettyjohn of Prairie City, and Russell Pettyjohn of Knoxville; sister, Rebecca Gilman of Prairie City; five grandchildren, Karrah, Kenza, Kwynten, Kylena, and Kelia Diaz-Kiler; and many nieces and nephews.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, Orvil and Arlene Pettyjohn; grandparents; and brother, Jeffrey Pettyjohn.
