Raymond Eugene Pratt

Raymond Eugene Pratt, age 75, of Harvey, Iowa, passed away on February 5, 2022.
Raymond was born on April 10, 1946, in Manchester, Iowa, the third of eight children born to Howard Ernest and Rotha Mae (Williamson) Pratt.
Ray was united in marriage to Alberta Wycoff on June 6, 1969, at Bill and Marie Wycoff’s home in Harvey. They were blessed with one daughter, Jill.
Ray worked at the Maytag Company for 30 years, from 1967 to 1997. He was currently employed at the Marion County Parks as a groundskeeper.
Ray’s wishes were to be cremated. A private family service will be held on a later date.
Those left to cherish Ray’s memory include his wife, Alberta Pratt; daughter, Jill Schippers and her husband, Michael; and grandchildren, Justice and Gauge Schippers. Ray is also survived by siblings, Betina Meister, Joyce Sheriff, Orville Pratt, and Dewayne Pratt. Also very close friends, Dennis and Brenda McKee, and their son Dustin.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Rotha Pratt; sister, Marsha Pratt; and brothers, Ralph and Walter Pratt.
Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville is assisting his family with arrangements.
