Paul Goodrich

Paul Junior Goodrich Osceola, Iowa Paul Junior Goodrich, son of Jesse M. and Elsie May Monical Goodrich, was born September 8, 1918 in Clarke County, Iowa. He departed this life March 21, 2007 at Chariton, Iowa. Paul attended school in rural Clarke County. He was united in marriage to Audra Ancel Baker on February 15, 1941. To this union, two children were born, Ronald Paul of Chariton and Roberta Sue Fogle of Lucas. Paul and Audra spent their married years farming. They raised their family and farmed the family farm west of Lucas for over 50 years. They retired and moved to Osceola where they enjoyed family and friends until Paul's health no longer permitted him to stay at home. He then moved to the Osceola Nursing and Rehab Facility. Paul loved the outdoors and spent many hours hunting mushrooms and picking raspberries with the grandkids. There was always a piece of machinery setting around to be worked on or a project to be finished as time permitted. He loved going to church attending Gospel music gatherings. Paul gave his heart to the Lord as a young man and was a member of the Lucas Assembly of God Church. Preceding him in death were his parents and sisters Inez Clarke and Margaret Leonard. Also his brothers Carl and Ross precede him in death. He leaves to honor his memory, his wife Audra of Osceola, son Ronald and wife Becky of rural Chariton, and daughter Roberta Fogle and husband Allan of rural Lucas. Grandchildren, Mark Goodrich and wife Dee Dee, of Des Moines, Keith Goodrich and wife Irene of Chariton, Sarah McCormick and husband Karl of Chariton, Lori Fogle of Murrieta, California, Sandi Fogle of Broomfield, Colorado. Vanny Goodrich, Laurel Goodrich, Emily Goodrich, and Tiffany Goodrich, all of Chariton. Great grandchildren, Sabrina and Marissa Goodrich and Teresa and Robert Sponsler all of Chariton, Mia Fogle of Murrieta, California, Xavier and Paisha Goodrich of Des Moines, and Cole, Jessica, and Shaynee McCormick of Chariton He also leaves brothers Vern Goodrich of Omaha, Nebraska and Everett Goodrich of Chariton. Sisters, Hazel Leonard and husband Harold of Chariton and Annabelle Ross of Lake Jackson, Texas as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
