Pamela Jean (King) Kreimeyer, age 56, of rural Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her home.
Pam was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa on July 22, 1963 to Richard and Mary Lou (Noftsger) King. Pam graduated from Twin Cedars High School, Class of 1981. During high school, she played softball and competed at State. She also liked beating her dad trapshooting.
Pam was united in marriage to Bryan Kreimeyer on November 5, 1983. They were blessed with two sons, Joshua Loren and Bradley Edward. Pam loved to cook, had a great sense of humor, was very generous with her time, loved spending time with her grandchildren, and was the best mom to her sons.
Pam was employed for over 35 years at the Veteran’s Hospital and recently transferred to the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers at Red Rock as a Facility Services Assistant. She loved her new job and her work family there.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bryan Kreimeyer of rural Knoxville; sons, Josh (Jamie) Kreimeyer, and Brad (Kirstie) Kreimeyer, both of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jayde, Jude, Khloe, and a new grandson on the way, Brody; mother, Mary Lou King of Monroe; sister, Brenda King of Montezuma; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loads of friends.
Pam is preceded in death by her loving father, Richard King; parents-in-laws, George and Ruth Kreimeyer; grandparents, Howard and Nellie King, and Kleber and Maxine Noftsger.
Memorials may be given in Pam’s memory to her family and will be put into a trust for her grandchildren.
Visitation for Pam will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Celebrate Community Church in Knoxville, beginning at 3:00 P.M. Pam’s family will be present to greet friends and relatives from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at Celebrate Community Church. Following services, a luncheon will be held at the Church.
