Nancy Jane Houtz

Nancy Jane Houtz, age 86, of Pella, Iowa, passed away on December 3, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 11:30 A.M. at Grace Fellowship Church in Pella, Iowa. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow.
Nancy was born on November 9, 1936, in Sheridan, Wyoming, the daughter of William and Hettie (Witzleben) Robinson. Following high school, she attended UCLA for two years. Nancy was self employed for most of her career.
Nancy was united in marriage to David Houtz, Sr. in San Diego, California on December 17, 1955. They were blessed with four children, David Jr., Janet, Douglas, and Linda.
Nancy enjoyed attending Grace Fellowship in Pella, Iowa. She loved her family and will be missed by them all.
Those left to cherish Nancy’s memory include her children, Janet Houtz of Salt Lake City, UT, Douglas (Jodi) Houtz of Otley, IA, and Linda Houtz (Mark Smedley) of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, Stephanie Mukai, Aaron and Cassie (Buma) Houtz, Caleb Houtz, Adam Houtz, Evie Houtz, Jonas Houtz, and Madeleine Fraenza. Nancy is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Amethyst and Daniel; also numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy is preceded in death by her son, David Houtz, Jr.; siblings, Helen Carlson and William “Billy” Robinson, and her parents, William and Hettie (Witzleben) Robinson.
Memorials may be given in Nancy’s memory to Grace Fellowship, 2497 Old Hwy 163, Pella, IA, 50219.
Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville is assisting Nancy’s family with her arrangements.
