Michail Vorobets

A Celebration of Life Service for Michail Vorobets will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Chariton Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial.  Memorials may be made in care of Michail's family.

Michail was born in Kamenka, Ukraine. He grew up with two brothers and four sisters. The Vorobets family immigrated to the United States in 1992 and lived in Portland, Oregon. In 2010, they moved to Chariton, Iowa.

Michael passed peacefully on March 17th, 2023 in his home, with his loving wife at his side. He lived a long and blessed life. Although he will be greatly missed, we know he is rejoicing with our Heavenly Father. 

Michail was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Domka; six children: Oleksander, Nadia, Tanya, Olia "Jenn", Maria, Luba; and 39 grandchildren.
