Melanie June (Parham) Clowser, age 50, of Knoxville, Iowa and formerly of Corydon, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at her workplace suddenly in Albia, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville. A visitation with Melanie’s family present will begin at 11:00 A.M. until the start of services. Burial will follow at Corydon Cemetery in Corydon.
Melanie was born on February 19, 1971, in Unionville, Missouri, the daughter of Eugene Leslie and Marsha Kay (Main) Parham. She attended and graduated from Wayne Community High School. Melanie worked as a nanny after high school for a short time and for most her working career she was a health care provider. She was currently working for Monroe County Professional Management as a Direct Care Provider.
Melanie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and decorating for the season.
Melanie is survived by her children, Jayde Vancenbrock (Tyler), Megan Clowser (Zachary Meyers), and Lesley Clowser (Joshua Drew) all of Knoxville; six grandchildren, Brantley, Heartlyn, Adilyn, Taelyn, Kayden, and Baylee. Melanie is also survived by her parents Eugene and Marsha Parham of Corydon; her brother Gene Parham (Deanna) of Seymour; her sister Kathy Carlson (Eric) of Seymour; and her dog Trixie.
Melanie is preceded in death by her grandparents; her sister Kendra Parham; and her companion Stuart Kaer.
A memorial in Melanie’s memory may be given to the family and will be established at a later date.
