Mary Wanda Brown

Mary Wanda Brown passed away September 3, 2021, of natural causes at her daughter's home in Des Moines, Iowa. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cambria Cemetery.

Mary was born January 24, 1932, to Mary Nina and Willie Finckbone in Gravity, Iowa.

Mary spent 10 years being a health care giver, 3 years as a dispatcher and then spent several years over the road with her husband trucking.

In 1961, she married the love of her life Everett Dean, together they raised their 6 children: Sandy, Gregory, Clarence, Rodger, Mary Jo, and Rodney in Russell, Iowa.

In 1989, they moved to Afton, Iowa where they raised 2 grandchildren, Robert and Joshua. In 2002, after the passing of Everett, she moved to Des Moines, Iowa with her daughter Mary Jo until her passing.

Mary is survived by her loving children: Sandy, Rodger, and Mary Jo and lots of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Everett; sons: Clarence, Gregory, and Rodney; a grandson, Bruce Dean; and a great granddaughter, Kylie Hunter.
