Mary Mcinnes

Mary Shirley McInnes, age 82, of Albia died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the Monroe County Hospital in Albia. She was born December 5, 1924 in Chicago, IL., to Leslie Shirley and Emma Velma (Anderson) Powell. She married Frederick James McInnes on June 4, 1944 in Albia, IA. He passed away on March 27, 2000. She was a graduate of Albia High School. She worked as a receptionist at the Monroe County Hospital in Albia. She was member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia. She was active in the Women?s Circle at the Church, and was a past member of Albia Women?s Club. Mary is survived one son, Jim McInnes of Wilton, IA.; and one daughter, Susan Clark of Normal, IL. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Laura Clark and Debra (Toby) Broadfield, and one great granddaughter, Emily Ann Broadfield. Her parents, husband; and one infant son, Joseph Leslie McInnes precede Mary in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Albia with Rev. Kevin Leveck officiating. Interment will follow in Oak View Cemetery. Visitation will open after 3:30 P.M. Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Albia with the family present from 6-8 P.M. Thursday evening. A memorial has been established to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia.
