Mary Jo Morse

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Mary Jo Morse will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m., at the Chariton First Christian Church – Disciples of Christ. Interment was at the Chariton Cemetery.

Mary Jo was a member of the First Christian Church in Chariton, Iowa. She loved being an Avon Lady, Mary Kay Consultant, and a Stampin Up Consultant. She loved her kids, the grands and the greats. She loved her friends and talking on the phone.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Morse; father, Edmond Stone; mother, Mary Belle Stone; brother, Keith Stone; brother, Bob Stone; sister, Kathryn McElvain; grandson, Jeremy Sanchez; grandson, Matthew Hayden; granddaughter, Chelsea Stevens; and grandson, Benjamin Mollett.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Bonnie Stone; daughters: Peggy (Jim) Curtis, Vicki (Arnold) Mollet, Kathy (Chuck) Culbertson, and Terri Keck; 13 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
