Marvin A. Walk

Funeral services for Marvin Andrew Walk will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona, with a visitation prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Lacona, Iowa. Marvin Andrew Walk was born on July 1, 1938 to Joseph Andrew and Norah Mary (Bauer) Walk. He graduated from Lacona High School and joined the Army National Guard. Marvin was a farmer for many of his early years. He then worked for and retired from Continental Trailways as a charter bus driver. That is where he met his wife Evelyn McNear. They were married on July 24, 1974. He had a license to fly airplanes, loved boats, motorcycles, Jeeps and scuba diving in his younger years. He enjoyed flying and traveling with Evelyn. Marvin is survived by his daughter Robyn (Kevin) Jones; grandsons, Seth and Dalton Parker; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife, Evelyn, and his parents. Visitation
