Margaret "Maggie" Davis

Memorial services for Maggie Davis, 57, will be Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines. Condolences may be left for the family at www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com . Maggie was born Oct. 5, 1950 in Des Moines to Norma and Leonard Nichols. She graduated from Melcher-Dallas Community Schools in 1968. She was united in marriage to David Davis in 1969; they were blessed with 3 children: Jason, Tami, and Chris. Maggie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, children, and friends. She was an avid gardener. Past employment consisted of multiple accounts receivable and management jobs; as well as being a mother. Preceding her in death were her parents and her ex-husband. She is survived by her children: Jason (Lori) Davis of Melcher-Dallas, Tami (Mark) Altschaffl of Elliott, and Chris (Desi) Davis of Urbandale; 6 grandchildren: Christopher, Cameron, Garret, Katie Jo, Makayla, and Abigail; and four siblings: Michael Edward Nichols, Jerry Joe Nichols, Mary Kay McDaniel, and Clara Jane Camphouse.
