Mable Louise (Duncan) Evans

Mable Louise (Duncan) Evans of Allen, Texas passed away August 23, 2022, at the age of 84. She was born on October 27, 1937, to Lawrence Duncan and Mary (Gailor) Duncan in Stanton, Tennessee. Mable married Paul Wayne Evans on December 26, 1954, in Humboldt, Tennessee. Together they raised three children, Dianne, Steve, and Kenneth. Years after her husband, Paul, passed away, Mable married Denny Buttz, and lived in Knoxville, Iowa. Mable worked in the banking industry for many years. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her daughter, Dianne Lamb and husband, Garry of Allen, Texas; son, Steve Evans and wife, Cheryl of Springfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Duncan and Mary Lottie Flynn; husbands, Paul Evans and Denny Buttz; son, Kenneth Evans; and sisters, Janie Doorn and Peggy Williams.
A visitation for Mrs. Evans will be held in Knoxville, Iowa at the Winfield Funeral Home on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. with her family present to greet friends and relatives. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
