Lynial Martell Kiler

Lynial Martell Kiler, age 61, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on January 5, 2021.
Lynial was born on December 4, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of LyTell and Barbara (Bowers) Kiler. He graduated from high school in Independence, Iowa.
He was united in marriage to Rhonda Pettyjohn on February 25, 1993. They were blessed with one daughter, Kodi. Lynial and Rhonda were united in marriage for 26 years, before her passing on November 18, 2019.
Lynial worked as an over the road trucker for many years. He then worked at a few factories before pursuing his dream in mechanic work. He was an avid Harley Davidson man. One of his biggest accomplishments was buying his own Harley. Lynial loved spending time with his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy. He enjoyed spending time outside messing around with something. Lynial was a man of all trades. His family will remember him as a very caring man who would help anyone.
Visitation for Lynial will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at the Winfield Funeral Home on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery. Face masks and social distancing are required.
Those left to cherish Lynial’s memory include his parents, LyTell and Barbara Kiler; daughter, Kodi Kiler (Jose Diaz) of Des Moines; sister, Keeme Kiler; brothers, Kevin Kiler (Kay), Perry Kiler (Deb), Kale Kiler (Shelly), Randy Kiler (Karla), Karl Kiler (Angie), and LyDell Kiler; also five grandchildren, Karrah , Kenza , Kwynten, Kylena, and Kelia Diaz-Kiler.
Lynial is preceded in death by his grandparents, and wife, Rhonda Kiler.
Memorials may be given to Lynial’s family to help with final expenses.
