Lois was married to the love of her life, LaVern Davis, Oct. 23, 1949, and they spent 72 wonderful years together. When he was in the service, she would always write him letters to get through the time while he was away. To this union, Lois and LaVern were blessed with two children: Steve and Debbie.
Lois was a very generous woman to all and enjoyed telling stories. She enjoyed staying active. Some of her favorite times were spent square dancing, playing cards at club with a close group of friends, and bowling in a league, where they took the championship in Sioux Falls for the state. Her church was very important to her, and she was a very active member. One of her very favorite activities was attending her grandkids’ sports. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.
