Lloyd Elmer ?Mike? Dale, age 75, of Neola, Iowa formerly of Albia died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at his residence in Neola. He was born September 9, 1931 in Albia, Iowa to Lewis Levi and Grace Ophelia (Selby) Dale. Mike attended Albia schools. He worked odd jobs around the Albia area. He is survived by one nephew, Jerry Clark and wife Cindy of Neola, Iowa; several grand nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Ruth I. Clark, Faye Ora Hamrick and one sister in infancy, Edna Marie Dale; 3 brothers, Selby E. Dale, Glen W. Dale and one brother in infancy, Lewis Harold Dale; and one nephew, Thomas Clark and one niece, Virginia Clark. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Oak View Cemetery in Albia with Rev. Rick Smith officiating. Burial will follow the services in Oak View Cemetery. Visitation will be open from 3 ? 8 P.M. Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Winfield Funeral Home in Albia. Casketbearers will be Dr. Michael Judge, Jim Ahn, John Pasut, Dennis Ballalatak, Phil and John Yenger. An Open memorial has been established.
