Linda Kay Jacobs

Funeral services for Linda Jacobs, 71, formerly of Lacona, will be Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Lacona. Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home in Lacona from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Linda passed away suddenly at home on Friday, January 29, 2021. Memorials are requested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. You may join the family by watching the live feed at Linda Kay Aubert Jacobs was born January 30, 1949 to Robert and Wilma Edgington Aubert in Des Moines. She was raised in Indianola, graduated from Indianola High School. She married Richard Jacobs on December 3, 1971. To this union they were blessed with two children. Richard passed away in May of 2020. She was a homemaker throughout her life and later a cook at Southeast Warren. Linda was a great cook and loved to cook for her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping and keeping connected through Facebook with her friends. She will be greatly missed by her children: Bob Jacobs and Amanda (Jeff) Vermeer; grandchildren: Cole, Grace, Jakob, and Stella; siblings: Sue (Steve) Nelson, Bob Aubert, Donald Hagen, and Laurie Kroeger; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
