Linda Irene Miller

Services for Linda Miller, 66, will be Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Milo. Interment will be at the Liberty Center Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Linda’s family to be designated at a later date.

Linda Irene Miller was born May 28, 1955, to Leo and Thelma Miller in Des Moines, Iowa. She was raised on a farm near Liberty Center, alongside her brothers: Darrell, Ron, and Larry. Linda enjoyed life on the farm and was proud to be the first female member of FFA at Southeast Warren High School. She was also involved in sports and enjoyed sporting events. Her high school basketball team even made it to state. Linda graduated from Southeast Warren High School with the class of 1973.

Linda worked at Farm Bureau for forty-four years. She was very committed to her job. When she wasn’t working, she loved spending time with her family. Linda was a very caring person and always looked out for her brothers. She adored her nieces and nephews and their children. Linda was also blessed to have shared her home with her best friend, Connie McClure, and her two boys, John and Dan. Linda and Connie were lifelong friends and the boys were like sons to Linda.

Linda passed away August 30, 2021. She will be dearly missed by her mom, Thelma Miller; brothers: Darrell (Misty) Miller, Ron (Kathy) Miller, and Larry (Mary) Miller; 8 nieces and nephews: Brian, Stacey, Jennifer, Courtney, Garrett, Kenny, Amy, and Brooke; many greats and great greats; and her best friend, Connie McClure, and Connie’s sons, John McClure and Dan McClure. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Leo Miller.
