Larry Warren Glenn

Larry Warren Glenn, age 82, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021.

Larry was born on August 28, 1938, the son of Silas and Gertie (Beckwith) Glenn. After graduating from high school, he served in the Iowa National Guard.

Larry was united in marriage to Jenna Condra on July 3, 1970 in Aurora, Colorado. To this union one child was born, Thad. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage before her passing on December 5, 2015.

Larry was employed at Maytag for 25 years before retiring. He enjoyed going to garage sales with his wife and was a dedicated member of the Pella Amateur Radio Club.

Larry’s wishes were to be cremated. A graveside burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10:30 A.M.

Those left to cherish Larry’s memory include his son, Thad (Tina) Glenn; step children, Keith Beaver and Tami VanDerSluis; step grandchildren, Cody VanDerSluis, Zach Beaver, and Victoria Beaver; also step great grandchildren, Kayden Williams, Colby Williams, and Kinnley Williams.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Gertie Glenn; wife, Jenna Glenn; brother, Harold Glenn; and sister, Velma Wall.

The Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville is assisting Larry’s family.
