Lanora Louise Fisher Jordan, age 81, resident of the Continental at St. Joseph?s in Centerville, formerly of Albia, IA, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at St. Joseph?s Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born May 2, 1924 in Albia, IA to William and Emma (Roland) Kolling. Lanora was a graduate of Albia High School. She then married William Fisher August 1, 1941. He died in October of 1983. She later married Robert Jordan. He has also passed away. She worked and retired from Exxon Mobil in Houston, TX. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia. She loved gardening, music, and playing the piano. Lanora is survived by daughter; Kay Marie (Mike) Brodine of Alvin, TX; four sons, William John Fisher of Sheppard, TX, Bert Rowland (Jodie) Fisher of Friendswood, TX, Timothy Z. (Janet) Fisher of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Tod Evans (Terri) Fisher of Friendswood, TX. She is also survived by one sister, Celina Judge of Albia, IA; one brother, William Kolling of Des Moines, IA; 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Lanora was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, three brothers, Henry, Gene, and Roland Kolling; and two sisters, Marie Karpan, and Margaret Kolling. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 19, 2006 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia with Rev. Kevin Leveck officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Forest Park Cemetery in Houston, TX. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the Winfield Funeral Home with the family present from 2-4 P.M. Saturday Afternoon.
