Kimberly Sue Gerdom

Kimberly Sue (Current) Gerdom, age 52, of Harvey, Iowa, died suddenly at her home in Harvey on Monday, November 15, 2021.
Kim’s family will be greeting friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 P.M., Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Community Foursquare Church of Knoxville. A memorial service for Kim will follow and will be held at 5:00 P.M.
Kim was born on February 2, 1969, to Charles Current and Shirley (Hoover) Davis. She was a graduate of Twin Cedars High School, Class of 1987.
Kim was the best stay at home Mom, and she enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren. She also liked reading and rock and feather hunting.
Kim and Shawn Duane Gerdom were united in marriage in May of 2002. They shared over 23 years together and were blessed with 10 children.
Kim is survived by her husband Shawn Gerdom; and their children, Jackie Romersberger, Cameron Myers (Jennifer), Lindsey Myers, Shawn Gerdom (Melissa), Skylee Gerdom, Arielle Melton, Anthony Gerdom, Nathan Gerdom, Keanu Myers, and Alexander Gerdom; and 12 grandchildren, Carson, Mataya, Naomi, Kayden, Kimber, Logan, Avalee, Skylyn, Mysty, Amori, and Briella. Kim is also survived by six sisters, Stacie Sliger (Brian), Jessica Kalvig, Rebekah Deetz (Cody), Kristina Hughes (Tim), Dalene Bennett (Randy), and Angela Brodrick; and one brother Tony Gerdom (Sandra).
Kim is preceeded in death by her mother Shirley Davis, two fathers, Charles Current and Frank Gerdom; her aunt Reba Hunt; brother Jason Gerdom; her grandmother Darlene Gerdom; and her sweet angel grandbaby Aleeyah Sherrae Carter.
The Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville is assisting Kim’s family with services.
