Kenneth Jones

Kenneth Michael Jones was born on July 30, 1962, in Chariton Iowa to Richard Jones & Myrtle Jones (Parsons).  As a child, Ken moved around a lot because of his dad’s job.  He attended many different schools, but he never had to worry if he would make friends, because he had built-in best friends with his five siblings.  He retired from East Penn Manufacturing Company in Corydon.

On February 14, 1999, he married the love of his life, Vicki DeVore.  They enjoyed going to garage sales, flea markets and auctions together to find that next hidden gem.  He also enjoyed fishing, especially with his brother Kevin and ATV riding, especially with his brother Kip in Colorado.  Every year on his birthday, he loved to go to Chucks Restaurant for pizza.  Ken enjoyed going to family gatherings.  He was a kind and gentle man, and our family will not be the same without him. 

He is survived by his sister Pamela (David) Raymie of Knoxville, brother Kevin (Donna) Jones of Waukee, brother Kurt Jones of Minnesota, and brother Kip (Kelly) Jones of Colorado.  He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his mother Myrtle Jones, father Richard Jones, brother Keith Jones, wife Vicki Jones and step-son Jeremy DeVore.  No funeral services are planned at this time.  Memorials can be made to “Your Life Matters, Inc” in Knoxville Iowa. Pierschbacher Funeral Home has been trusted with the arrangements.
