Karen Sue Voshell

A celebration of life will be held for Karen Sue Voshell on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Milo, Iowa. Karen Sue Voshell, daughter of Kenneth Eugene Thomas and Letah Cerena Stevens was born February 5, 1952 in Salina, Kansas and passed from this life Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Clarke County Hospital at 68 years of age. Karen received her Licensed Practical Nursing certificate from Indian Hills Community College and worked for many years as an LPN following graduation. Karen has lived in Osceola the past eight years and lived in Russell for twelve years prior to Osceola. Those relatives who preceded Karen in death were her mother, Letah Cerena Stevens Thomas, her father, Kenneth Eugene Thomas, her sister, Neida Stevens, and her brother, Jerry Stevens. Karen leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Anthony Thomas and his wife, Cristal Thomas of Osceola, Iowa; brothers James Thomas, Bobby Stevens, Tommy Thomas, Charles Thomas, Donnie Stevens, and Roger Stevens; sisters Carol Lambert and Vickie Payton; grandchildren: Ashley, Lynn, Nate, Ashley Marie, Steven, Alex and Kirstie; twelve great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and many friends.
