Judy S. Byers

Judith “Judy” Byers was born March 15, 1937, to George Sr. and Mildred Krahl in upstate New York.

While working at an instant photo store, she was introduced to her coworker’s brother, Bud. Judy and Bud were united in marriage on March 6, 1961. They made their home in Melcher-Dallas and were blessed with five children: Mike, Rusty, Rhonda, Cindy, and Penny. Judy enjoyed being a mother and a homemaker. In 1994, Judy and Bud moved to Princeton, Missouri. 

Judy loved to read, was an avid Chiefs fan, and enjoyed camping. She looked forward to time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Judy passed away January 18, 2023. No services are planned at this time. She is survived by her sons, Mike Gabriel and Rusty Byers; daughters, Rhonda Clark, Cindy Bebee, and Penny Fisher; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne “Bud” Byers, and her siblings: George Krahl Jr., Jo Parker, and Sue Speridon.
