Judith Ellen Konrad

Judy passed away peacefully on September 10, 2023, at the age of 82. 

Judy was born in Dallas, Iowa, the third of four children born to Jack & Mary Hyatt. Judy graduated from Dallas High School with the class of 1959. She married Jim Konrad on September 12^th, 1959. To this union, two children were born, Denise and Jim. 

Judy was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and a housewife who also worked outside the home at different times in her life. 

Judy loved to bake and was a great cook. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles. Judy and her late husband, Jim, were always there for their family and frequently helped their elderly neighbors in the community. 

Judy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Denise (Jim) Bright and Jim (Diana) Konrad. She had four grandchildren: Amanda, Tiffany, Ben & Grace; three great grandchildren: Trace, Jackson & Caroline; and one great-great grandchild, Blakeleigh. Judy is also survived by her sister, Kathye (Jerry) Law; sister-in-law, Doris Hyatt; stepsister, Beverly Jones; brothers-in-law: Bill Konrad, Rick (Dixie) Konrad and Kevin Konrad; and many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. 

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; parents, Jack & Mary Hyatt; stepmother, Winifred Hyatt; brother, Jackee Hyatt; sister, Janet Hyatt; and stepbrother, Richard Wood.
