Jonathan Glen Ripperger

A Celebration of Life for Jonathan Ripperger, 45, originally of Lacona, will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona.

Jonathan Glen Ripperger was born October 6, 1977, to Wayne and Sara Ripperger in Knoxville, Iowa. He was raised alongside his brothers, Dave and Bob. He attended Southeast Warren Community School.

Jonathan worked at CNN in Chicago as well as Optimist Magazine in New York. He was currently living in San Francisco, California.

Jonathan passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022. He is survived by his mother, Sara Ripperger; brother, Bob (Debbie) Ripperger; and nephews: Devon (JoAn Ripperger), Derek (Kelsey) Ripperger, and Cody (Jonee) Ripperger.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Ripperger. His brother, David Ripperger, passed away on November 5, 2022.
