John Noah

John Noah, 78, of Chariton, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Per John’s wishes, no services are planned at this time.

John William Noah was born on July 1, 1944, to Orrie and Vera (Kincaid) Noah. He went to school in Chariton, graduating from Chariton High School.

John drove a truck for Hy-Vee for 45 years, retiring about 15 years ago. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and watching Nascar. He thoroughly enjoyed everything outdoors, even chopping wood. He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

John will be deeply missed by his wife, Lucinda; children: Doug (Karla) Noah, Angie Noah, Jeffrey Noah, Shawn (Sandy) McSperan, Shana (Paul) Lahr, and Patrick (Stacey) Gerkey; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Louise Skellings; brother-in-law, Bud Schumann; sister-in-law, Roze (Dave) McCabe; and brother-in-law, Ed (Sue) Hochart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orrie and Vera; sister, Linda Schumann; and brother-in-law, Edmond Skellings.
