John Raymond Money

John Raymond Money, 63, of Milo, Iowa passed away on October 3, 2023, at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in care of John’s family.

John was born on November 10, 1959, to John and Donna (Benge) Money. He left high school to begin working. He spent many years in the flooring business.

John was married to LaNette Schnoor on October 22, 1977. The couple was blessed with two sons, Bradley John and Travis Lee.

John had a passion for the outdoors, spending a lot of time fishing and hunting. As a child, he also did some trapping. He had a knack for finding treasures wherever he went and enjoyed going "Junking," always on the lookout for unique items to add to his ever-growing collection. It was not uncommon for him to bring these finds into the house to work on them. In fact, he once brought a chainsaw into the kitchen to fix it.

John will be deeply missed by his wife, LaNette; sons, Bradley John (Tiffanie) Money and Travis Lee (Jessica) Money; grandchildren: Tyler (Emma), Kendra, Eveah, Sophia, Theo, and Silas; siblings: Debbie Mansoor, David Money, Shawnda (Steve) Abbass, Janiece (Kenny) Kadner, Laura Money, and John Money; in-laws: Mark (Shelley) Schnoor, Vicki Douglas, and Jeannie Money; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Nutting; his father, John Money; his brother, Rex Money; parents-in-law, Larry and Marilyn Schnoor; and brother-in-law, Mike Schnoor.
