Jim Ripperger

Jim was born July 12, 1921 in Bauer, Iowa to Phillip and Laura Ripperger. He had 12 siblings. Jim attended School in Bauer where he enjoyed making a living in farming. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Hoover in October 1943 they were blessed with 3 children: Sheri, Jim, and Trudy. Bonnie passed away in 1993 after 50 years of marriage. In November of 1996 he married Norma Goering. Gilbert passed away on August 18, 2007. Jim loved fishing and hunting. Jim even went deer hunting last year. He had a great work ethic and enjoyed life on the farm. He had a full life with family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Bonnie and 9 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Norma Goering of Indianola, children: Sheri & Jack Dhabalt, Jim & Pat Ripperger, Trudy & Kenneth Dhabalt; step children: Carolyn & Don King, Alan Goering, Merrill U. Goering, Janella & Don Sandy; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren; and siblings: Marcel Ripperger, Keith Ripperger, and Jane Graves.
