Jason Edward Hodges

Jason Edward Hodges, age 41, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Pella Comfort House.
Jason was born on August 17, 1980, in Knoxville, Iowa, the son of Vivian Sue Hodges. Jason grew up in Knoxville and attended Knoxville Schools. Jason then moved to Guthrie Center and graduated from Guthrie Center High School. During high school, he enjoyed playing football.
Jason was employed at Ulrich Meat Market in Pella, Iowa, and then worked at Main Street Café and Taso’s Restaurant.
Jason was an avid Iowa State Cylones football fan and Indianapolis Colts fan. He also loved the Knoxville National Sprint Car Races. Jason was very social and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Justin Hodges and his wife, Shelby of Berwick, Iowa; sister, Genna Hodges of Altoona, Iowa; her daughter, Tulia Escorcia; and Aunt Rhonda Hammonds.
Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Sue Hodges; and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Jason on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at Riverside Church in Knoxville, with Bruce Reitveld officiating. A luncheon will follow his service at the church.
Memorials may be given in Jason’s memory to his family and will be designated at a later date.
