Janice F. Wadle

Mass of Christian Burial for Janice, 73, will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Melcher-Dallas. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the family receiving friends until 8:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to the National Shrine of St. Jude. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com Janice Frances Wallace was born on October 30, 1933 in Lacona, Iowa daughter of Paul and Anna (Dittmer) Wallace. She graduated from Lacona High School. On June 30, 1956 Janice married Raymond Wadle. Janice worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield and then for Gary's TV and Appliances in Melcher-Dallas from 1975 until she retired in 1986. Janice was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 632 for 26 years, Sacred Heart Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Janice passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Janice is survived by her husband Raymond; children: Nancy (Doug) Brown of St. Francis, MN; Frank Wadle of Nevada, MO, Edward Wadle of Melcher-Dallas, Sandra Goering of Melcher-Dallas, Geralyn (Lance) Brattain of Ft. Wayne, IN, Doug (Cara) Wadle of Melcher-Dallas, and Threasa Wadle of Melcher-Dallas; 18 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; siblings: Melvin (Norma) Wallace of Melcher-Dallas, Bernard (Carolyn) Wallace of Knoxville, Clarice (Raymond Jo) Chambers of Lacona, Charlotte Heaton of Lacona, Marylee (Dean) Hoch of Lacona; sister-in-law Charlene (Terry) Fisher of Melcher-Dallas; brother-in-law Franklin Dittmer of Lacona; and special friend Helen Zannotti of Las Vegas. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Marilyn Dittmer, and brothers: Dennis and Keith Wallace.
