Janet Terrell, age 74, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Knoxville Hospital and Clinics.
Janet was born in Liddell, Texas on August 30, 1945, the daughter of Antonio and Delores Alfaro.
She was united in marriage to Clifford Louis Terrell and they were blessed with four children, Melody, Wendy, Tracy, and Clinton. Janet worked as a private house cleaner for 38 years. She enjoyed collecting unusual purses and making her own jewelry.
Those left to cherish Janet’s memory include her husband, Clifford Terrell of Knoxville; children, Melody Terrell of Oskaloosa, Wendy (Terrell) Leavens of Grinnell; Tracy Terrell of Wisconsin, and Clinton Terrell of Knoxville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and siblings.
Janet is preceded in death by her son, Clifford “Junior” Terrell, Jr. and several siblings.
Janet’s wishes were to be cremated. A private family burial will take place on a later date.
Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville is assisting the family.
