Eunice Smith

Eunice passed away on Friday February 9, 2007 in Concord, CA. She was born to John W. and Genevieve (Ohnemus) Smith on November 16, 1930 in Melcher, IA. A funeral mass will be held in Concord on February 14, 2007, at 11 a.m. She is survived by her sister, Janice Chambers, of Concord, CA, her brother John (Pauline) of Ankeny, and her sister-in-law JoMary Smith (Laverne) of Melcher-Dallas. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews along with many friends in Iowa and California. Preceding her in death were her mother and father, her sister Bernadette, and her brothers Laverne and Robert. The family will be present at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas on Sunday, February 18, at 6:00 pm with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery near Melcher-Dallas with a graveside service of Christian burial being held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 19, and lunch immediately following. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas is handling the Iowa arrangements
