Eric Kyle Mccoy

Eric Kyle McCoy, age 37, of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, formerly of Knoxville, passed away on August 26, 2020 at his residence.

Eric was born on August 8, 1983 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Tony and Rosalie (Miller) McCoy. He grew up in Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville High School, Class of 2001.

Eric was employed in the restaurant business and had worked at Hardee’s, and Taso’s. He currently was employed as a manager at Wendy’s in Altoona. Eric enjoyed working on cars and fishing.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. at Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville. A graveside service will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.

Those left to cherish Eric’s memory include his father, Tony McCoy of Knoxville; brother, Micheal (April) McCoy of Ottumwa; son, Eric Kyle McCoy, Jr. of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Nevaeh Kilgore of Knoxville; and half brother, Shane Nicholson of Lovilia.

Eric is preceded in death by his mother, Rosalie Keasling; and twin sister, Tina Marie McCoy at birth.
