Eddie L. Arnold

Eddie L. Arnold, 75, of Chariton, Iowa, passed away December 22, 2022, at the Lucas County Health Center after battling cancer. His wishes were to be cremated with no services at this time.

Eddie was born in Vincennes, Indiana on September 8, 1947. He was the tenth child of fourteen born to Walter and Ethel Evans Arnold. Eddie met Mary Wendel and was married January 21, 1967. He worked for the State of Iowa at Camp Dodge in maintenance as a painter for over 30 years. He loved the outdoors and was often hunting, fishing, and trapping. He also enjoyed his woodworking shop where he built many fine pieces.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of nearly 56 years, Mary; children: Beth, Dina, and Eddie Jr.; seven grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and siblings: Maurice, Rosie, Charlotte, and Bill; along with many relatives and friends.
