Donald Dean Crossett

Donald Dean Crossett, 89, of Ames, Iowa, passed away on July 25, 2023, from Myelodysplasia at the Comfort House in Pella, Iowa. He is predeceased by his parents, Leslie James Crossett and Ellen (Nelson) Crossett. Don is survived by his children, Cynthia Hanson (Jon) and Bradley Crossett (Lisa), seven grandchildren, Kelli Hanson, Julie Hanson, Kyle Crossett (Brittany), Allison Iddings (Ross), Aaron Crossett, Nolan Crossett (Lauren), and Ian Crossett; five great grandchildren, Leighton Crossett, Ezra Crossett, Theodore Crossett, Elliotte Iddings and Tate Iddings.

Don was born and grew up in Valentine, Nebraska, and went to business school in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Seattle, Washington. Don worked in retail management for 40 years. He loved to go fishing, go for coffee with his buddies and spend time with his family.
