David Miller

A Celebration of Life will be held for David and Shirley Miller at the First Baptist Church in Chariton on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made in their names to the Inter-Church Council of Lucas County.

David Clell Miller was born November 19, 1946, at Yocum Hospital in Chariton. He passed away August 23, 2022, at Corydon Specialty Care.

Dave married Shirley Goering on June 9, 1966, at Eden Baptist Church near Derby, Iowa. They had 55 wonderful years together until Shirley's passing in November 2021.

Surviving him are his daughters, Angela (Tim) Pollard and Carmen Miller. Sister-in-law, Carla (Shawn) Manske. Nieces, Taylor and Kori. Step-sister Carol Zanders, and brother Raymond Miller.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley; his parents, Kenneth Miller and Mona Anderson; step-father, Violas Anderson; parents- in -law, Carl and Helen Georing; and sister, Carol Adock.
